Wedding Concepts
Inc. Privacy Policy
Wedding
Concepts Inc. is committed to your right to privacy. We
are constantly making changes as technology advances to
ensure that your personal information remains secure. This
Privacy Policy serves to inform you, the user, of our
practices as they apply to the usage of any collected
personal information. We will use your information only in
accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Accountability
Wedding Concepts Inc. is accountable for all information
in its control. Mr. Brandon Jones, President of Wedding
Concepts Inc., is the designated Chief Privacy Officer.
The Chief Privacy Officer is accountable for Wedding
Concepts' compliance with the ten privacy principles.
Wedding Concepts recognizes that it is responsible for
personal information in its possession. Wedding Concepts
abides by the provisions of the federal law, and assumes
responsibility for doing so.
2. Identifying Purposes
Some of our publications are distributed strictly by
request. In order for a person to request a free single
copy, the consumer is required to complete a printed
request form or enter the information on a form that is
available on our website. These forms ask for items of
personal information that include but are not limited to
name, age, address, telephone number, email address, name
and telephone of intended, wedding date, number of wedding
guests, and wedding purchase plans. This information is
stored in our databases.
We collect this information for four purposes:
| a) |
To
determine if the requester is qualified to receive
the free publication based on certain criteria. |
| b) |
To
forward by mail or by courier the wedding planner
that the consumer has requested. |
| c) |
To
forward promotional brochures relating to wedding
services and products. |
| d) |
To
distribute to our clients in the form of monthly
lists in order that they can send information and
promotional materials that provide assistance in
the planning of the wedding. |
In addition to the circumstances outlined above, we may
disclose this information if required by law, court order,
as requested by other government or law enforcement
authorities, or in the good faith belief that disclosure
is necessary or advisable, including (without limitation)
when we have reason to believe that disclosing the
information is necessary to identify, contact or bring
legal action against someone who may be causing
interference with our rights or properties, whether
intentionally or otherwise, or when anyone else could be
harmed by such activities.
3. Consent
Each and every request form indicates clearly that by
requesting a copy of our publication, the requester
authorizes us to share the requester's information with
wedding professionals who may be able to assist them in
planning their wedding. This information is also stated on
the masthead of the relevant publications. We accept only
requests that are received on one of our printed forms and
signed by the person who is to receive the publication, or
via our email form. We do not accept verbal requests nor
do we accept written requests that are not on our form.
A person who does not wish to have his/her information
collected and shared can simply refuse to complete and
return a request form. We reserve the right to limit
distribution of our publications to people who agree to
supply the requested information.
4. Limiting Collection
Wedding Concepts makes all reasonable efforts to ensure
that we limit the collection of the personal information
to that which is necessary for the intended use as
identified in Principle 2, Identifying Purposes.
5. Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention
Wedding Concepts agrees to keep personal information only
as long as necessary for the identified purpose. Formal
guidelines and procedures to ensure the safe destruction
or disposal of personal information no longer required are
established and have been implemented.
6. Accuracy
Wedding Concepts keeps personal information on consumers
as up-to-date as possible for the defined need.
7. Safeguards
Wedding Concepts takes pains to ensure that only our
clients use and receive information about men and women
who have requested and qualified to receive one of our
publications. "Dummy" addresses are included on
occasional lists to audit any unauthorized use.
We will take legal action against unauthorized users.
Besides the consumer information that we supply to our
clients, on our website we have advertisements and links
to client websites that may collect personal information
about people who access them. The Privacy Policy of
Wedding Concepts does not cover the information practices
or policies of our clients. We encourage you to read their
privacy policies as they may be different from ours.
The computers on which the data are stored are
password-protected.
8. Openness

9. Individual Access
Wedding Concepts will work with consumers to fulfill the
right of their right to know of the existence, use and
disclosure of his/her personal information and to provide
access to that information.
After receiving the requested publication and being
contacted by wedding suppliers, a consumer may decide that
he/she no longer wishes to receive such contacts. Upon
informing Wedding Concepts of this, that consumer's
database listing will be tagged to ensure that his/her
name is no longer distributed to our clients. We will then
retain the information on our database for the sole
purpose of ensuring that the consumer does not receive
another free publication. It is understood that we can do
nothing about information that has already been
distributed to our clients per the terms of our request
agreement.
The consumer must recognize that he/she is required to

any other concerns about Wedding Concepts' Privacy Policy
and procedures, you may contact the Office of the Privacy
